What to bring
kit list
You'll be experiencing a range of climates from the hot jungle to cool nights in the Himalaya. On the trek itself we will assign porters to carry your main luggage leaving you to enjoy the day and carry your own day-pack for essentials (water, snacks, sun-creams etc). There will also be free storage in the hotel prior to the trek allowing you to take only what you need. Bring practical clothes as you will be in the mountains and the jungle: there are no formal evenings. At the welcome and farewell dinners you need only smart/casual wear.

Night-time temperatures in the mountains can be quite cool, so you will need a good sleeping bag and warm jacket. Some clients bring pyjamas or thermal underwear to sleep in, which can be a good idea. You can also purchase quite cheaply anything from trekking jackets, fleece tops, to sleeping bags and walking sticks (you can also hire these) in Kathmandu and Pokhara. So you don't even need to pack these.
