![]() ![]() Visas
It is currently possible for UK passport holders to obtain a visa on arrival in Kathmandu Airport: it's quite a simple process of completing a short form and handing it in, together with payment of $25 (for a 15 day visa) $40 (for a 30 day visa) and a passport sized photograph. If you prefer, you can obtain a visa prior to travel. Please visit www.nepembassy.org.uk for information. You need a single entry Tourist Visa. You must have a 10 year passport with at least 6 months unexpired after the end of our trip. ![]() Insurance
Adequate travel insurance is essential. It is your responsibility to obtain insurance that covers all activities detailed on this site. Your insurance must cover our trekking activity and the costs, in the highly unlikely occurrence, of any helicopter rescue. Please note that our trekking height is to an approximate maximum of 3,200 mtrs, so you need to make sure your insurance cover is adequate for at least this height. We also advise you consider travel insurance that provides cover against holiday cancellation or curtailment. We will need your holiday insurance company name, policy number and emergency telephone number on receipt of final payment. We cannot take responsibility for providing you with insurance. ![]() Health
We cannot advise on medical vaccinations and the like as this can be different for each client based on personal circumstances. It's vital that you visit your doctor or travel clinic to take advice. |
